All 10 Formula One teams revealed their 2025 liveries at this Tuesdays F1-75 launch event in London. British comedian Jack Whitehall hosted the event in front of a massive crowd of fans and team personnel at the 02 Arena in London. Throughout the two-hour event, each team came out on stage with both drivers, their respective team principles, and an old spec car to unveil their new 2025 liveries.

In light of the new designs, our writer Eamon Ryan has ranked each of these liveries from worst to best. The one-of-a-kind launch event left fans with a few surprises, but also a few letdowns as teams failed to innovate on their 2024 paint schemes. This was no more evident than with McLaren…

10: McLaren

While for many McLaren’s iconic papaya orange is enough to move it up the list the lack of creativity from the Woking team puts it at the bottom of our list. Many fans were hoping that teams would take advantage of the F1-75 launch as an opportunity to reshape their image, but McLaren have come up short.

9: Williams

Williams have chosen a more striking blue for its 2025 challenger. The addition of some new sponsors and subtle redesigns have helped the team's case for innovation, however, the black and brown of the Duracell sponsorship still severely hurts the whole package.

8: Sauber

Sauber is the first team on our list that has truly made an effort to flip their livery for 2025. While the new look is appreciated, the livery still feels like a bit of a downgrade. Compared to the 2024 Sauber livery the 2025 paint scheme is too simple to move higher up the list. With the front having the only spot of color the design seems uninspired and could have done with more creativity.

7: Red Bull

Since its introduction back in 2016, Red Bull’s matte blue color scheme has been a fan favorite. While this still remains a great livery, one of the best on the grid, in fact, we have placed Red Bull down the order purely for lack of creativity. Even main man Max Verstappen wishes Red Bull would “spice it up a little bit.”

6: Aston Martin

While Aston Martin may be lacking in the innovation department with only a few subtle evolutions of last year's car, the elegant green still makes for a great livery. Aston Martin has included a new white touch on the airbox and some additional black elements on the lower half of the car. While Aston Martin may be attempting to take advantage of exposed carbon, the new scheme still looks as clean as ever.

5: Mercedes

This year's Mercedes is a clear evolution of last year's livery with only a few slight changes. Additional silver on the engine cover definitely solidifies this year's look as more of “Silver Arrow.” Nevertheless, the Mercedes livery remains one of the best designs on the grid and the new changes only improve it further.

4: Haas

America’s only Formula 1 team unveiled their 2025 car with a fantastic color flip of last year's car. The black and white elements of the 2024 car have mostly switched places creating a more appetizing design reminiscent of the past designs from new technology partner Toyota. The highlighted black Haas logo pops out and looks fantastic on the side pod making for a great overall look.

3: Alpine

Alpine has done a complete 180 after going from one of the worst liveries of 2024 to one of our favorites. The Enstone-based team was heavily criticized last year for taking advantage of exposed carbon design with little to no paint. However, Alpine has come out with a fully decorated 2025 challenger with the team's signature blue and pink color scheme highlighting their title sponsor BWT.

2: Ferrari

Ferrari has opted for a darker red livery reminiscent of Ferrari's last Drivers Championship car from 2007. Many fans have been critical of the white sections around Ferrari’s HP sponsorship however we feel from the side it doesn’t look half bad. The white addition reminds us of the Ferraris from a few years ago when the team was still sponsored by Santander. Admittedly the white on the front and rear wings doesn’t look too good from an onward angle, but the fantastic dark red is enough to put Ferrari towards the front of our list.

1: Racing Bulls

The new Racing Bulls livery is an easy pick for the best livery of the F1-75 launch. The full white body feels very similar to some one-off Red Bull liveries from the past but to get it for the full year is fantastic. The inclusion of vibrant red and yellow Red Bull logos is perfect against the white background. While the black tip on the front wing does leave a little to be desired, the simple and slick design makes for a great sister car to the Red Bulls.
